African Fever

It has been a crazy but amazing ride so far. God has really been working in and through me and my team. We arrived in Uganda on the 17th. When we first got there we ended up just sleeping in our tents at local hostel. Then the next day we got to go white water rafting in the Nile River. That was such an amazing experience. Seeing the beautiful landscape of Africa. was really crazy was just as we would go down the river just seeing the people on the side of the river bank, seeing the kids and and their homes. Its crazy to think that there are people who really do live their lives like that. After rafting we all headed back and slept at a different hostel. It was a 2 hour “bus” ride to our next place. Finally we reached the church and our contact. It was really awesome to finally see all of the kids running around when we first pulled up to the chruch.
We got to our ministry site on the 20th. All three of the expeditions teams are located in three different places throughout Tororo but we are all working under the same church. We have been staying in a house just down the raod from the pastors house. We are truly blessed to be able to live in such a nice(ish) house as we do our ministry around Tororo. We will be here in this house until the 1st of Febuary and then we will move onto our next location. My team is located in Tororo Uganda. We have been doing door to door or hut to hut evangelism and sharing the love of Christ with the people in the local town. We will be doing this all week until we have to go on to our next location.

I have really taken the time just to share my heart with the people of Uganda. God has really been tugging at my heart and I love when He does that. This adventure is just beginning and already He has has shown me and has taught me so much. Its really hard just to see the lifestlye and just how these people live everyday. But man do they love Christ. Even when they have so little they re just so willing to serve.

Im so pumped to what He has planned for me and my team. He has already done so much and im truly blessed to be His servant each and everyday.
