Meekah stole my heart.
He is Pastor David’s son. He is in kindergarten. I love him so much. I wish I could bring him back to America. Pastor David offered, but I told him I wasn’t ready to be a mother. Plus he has such a wonderful family here.
He is so precious.
He gives me butterfly kisses.
He gives me fishy kisses.
He looks into my eyes with his big brown eyes and just smiles!
When we get home from afternoon ministry I bend down and open my arms and he comes running into my arms and jumps up on me! It is adorable.He clings to me anytime we are hanging out at the house.
We run around and play.
We sing songs.
We say the alphabet back and forth.
We count to 100 back and forth.
Even though there is a language barrier I’ve been able to love on him so much. It is incredible. They way he looks into my eyes and clings onto me makes me want to take him home so badly. It is going to break my heart when we leave this family. Every night we sit around the bonfire and he falls asleep in my arms. Last night I laid on the bench and he laid on my chest and I looked at the stars and prayed as he fell asleep. It was so cute.
Everyone makes comments such as:
Michelle gained another limb!
Are you going to take him home with you?
He’ll fit in your backpack!
You guys are inseperable!
It is all true. I have 2 more weeks with him. I’m going to get even more attatched. I love him so much!
