So, tomorrow I will leave on a plane to go to AFRICA!
I am so excited about leaving, but God has taught me so much during these few days at training camp.
The first day of camp, I became very fearful and doubtful of if I was doing the right thing, and if I was going to actually be able to handle this adventure.
During something they call the “surrender hike” here at training camp, I gave up a lot of things I had been holding onto and a lot of fears I have about what this trip is going to be like.
It was so overwhelming to feel God’s presence and love surround me and to hear Him say that He is with me and He will be with me throughout this trip and the rest of my life.
The day after this, we had team dance competition and it was so great to laugh and dance and be with people I could trust.
There is so much freedom in dancing, and God loves for us to dance in worship before Him!!
Our God is not a God of fear and He wants us to live free in His presence. He will provide all that we need, and I am so glad to have finally grasped the concept of freedom and peace.
Please pray for my team as we travel tomorrow for God’s protection, and that we will continue to listen to His voice.
Love you all!
