My Beautiful Brothers

We had our first rain since we’ve been here. Of course me and my team mates had an epic dance party and sang some crazy worship songs as we all jumped around in the pouring african rain. It was something we were all waiting for, for a very long time, so to finally get it was a huge blessing and really refreshing after being in the hot sun all morning.

It was just yesterday that we got a chance to go to all four of the clinics here in Malaba, Uganda. While we were there we got the wonderful blessing of just going and praying over the sick and also having such a even greater opportuntiy to pray over the empty rooms for those who would come in later who might be sick. The day started off slow but picked up just because we all knew that His Spirit was moving in and through us as we were travling from clinic to clinic. At one clinic before we all left to go to our last one it was really awesome just have have one of my team mates just have us all stop and pray before we left. To do that was truly a blessing in itself. To stop and just pray to our King and just thank Him for what He will do and what He will continue to do at that clinic. Thank you Megan for listening to His voice! Over all the day was a huge success and a big blessing just to be able to pray for the sick and just to put a smile on their faces and just seeing their faces light up when we tell that them that there is a God out there that loves them more than they could ever imagine!
So on our way back from our clinic ministry, as we were all already really hot and tired and just ready to go back, of course He had something else in mind for us. Expecting just to go straight home we ended up going to one of our translators homes. He had invited us over so we could pray for him and his brother and his brothers wife. We got to meet them and pray for them witch was really awesome. After we prayed for him and his brothers family, on our way back home we saw a mother holding her son named Sam. But once we got closer we came to realize that Sam was completely paralized and because of that the illness had also caused him  not being able to speak, all he could do was hear. At first i was speechless. I didn’t know how to react, but i know God had placed me and my team there at that moment for a reason. So after we prayed for Sam we headed back and then we came across anther boy who had the same illness as Sam did. At this point i know we were supposed to visit our translators home otherwise we never would have met and gotten the chance to pray over our Beautiful Brothers. As we prayed for our second brother, when everyone else was walking away i felt the need and the calling in my heart just to continue to hold his hand, kneel by his side, and just continue to let him know that he is not alone and that he truly is a beautiful creation of our wonderful and amazing God.
God had placed me and my team on that path for a very unique reason. And that reason was so that we could stop and pray for our two very beautiful and wonderfully created Brothers. i am truly thankful we got a chance to see our brothers and just being able to hold their hands and pray for them was truly a blessing. I know He will continue to work in and through them.
I can not wait to see our Beautiful Brothers again!
