Malawi has stolen my heart! The people here in Zomba are so excited to hear the word of God and are hungry for his love! the past Sunday my team and i attended the church of the pastor whos home we are staying at. The worship was the most powerful praises i have ever felt in my life! A man or women would open up the song and then BAM 20 other voices jump in in perfect harmony and love and praise all for or lord! This sent chills through my intire body; though its a million degrees outside and I could feel the bullets of sweat pouring down my spine!
Pastor Gama and mama Rose are the wonderful Zombians who have opened their homes and lives to us for the next three weeks! Praise Jesus for this amazingly giving family. My team of 11 are living in 4 rooms the size of, or smaller than, my bathoom…. oh and speaking of potties, I have offically used a squatty potty 🙂 though it has been difficult i praise Jesus for the on I have because apparently… it's one of the nicest ones. GULP!
mama rose is the sweetest loving mama i have ever met! And her cooking is spectacular!( even though i found out yesterday i have been eating piegon the past week) She has been washing all our clothes and cleaning all our things! Pastor Guma is the funniest little man on earth. He stands about 5 foot and wear harry potter glasses and when he gets excited for the lord he just explodes with joy and laughter!
In Zomba i have seen Jesus is all the little children's eyes! they are so peacful here! Dan, pastor Gama's grandson, has the biggest eyes and two front teeth for a 6 year old! and his pure joy is entoxicatiing! We have gone home to home and shared God's love with a few families and Im happy to say they have all been extremly accepting of God's word! please pray they continue to see his love and hope for them!
This trip is totally becoming a dream come true and i am so thankful that God's plan took over instead of my own!
p.s sorry if my spelling is rank, this computer does not have spell check and most of yall know im lost without it! lol
