The houses here in Maputo are colorless; they hold much sickness and much darkness within the walls. They are made of stone and cement and are topped with tin roofs. We walk by these houses every day on our way to church. We see big eyes peeking around the thorn bush fences and cardboard doors. There is much despair in Mozambique.   But there is also hope. A sea of people before me. Their arms stretched high over-head, letting the presence of God crash on them like a mighty hurricane. This is it. This is my new church, Africa on Fire Ministries. It is not defined by the sand floor under our feet, nor the absence of a ceiling or wall in front of us. I have been called to do this. I'm learning that its not about me anymore, it's about God and the purpose that he has for me. I am so ready. I can't wait to see all the plans he has. I want more. I want to feel God in a way that I have never felt before.
