The Lion of Judah is Thundering Deep

Training camp has taught me how to be free in Christ. Jesus is breaking chains that have been holding me down my entire life. The lion of judah is thundering deep, roaring down the walls of fear in me. I am so fired up for this trip, for it to be something more than another summer mission trip. I want to encounter the full glory of God face to face. Something that will change me both physically and spirtually. I have a hunger for the Holy Spirit that cannot be contained right now. I’m so ready to get out in the field and heal the sick, break chains and bring hope. Open the floodgates...

Daunting Perhaps

Living the faith is a struggle.  The Lord is my strength, and he never fails to pull me up.  These first few days of this adventure have been stirring my soul. I wouldn’t say that I am at peace, for through turmoil the Father is growing me, and I know his peace will come in time.  Knowing the power that lives within me because of Christ is a little scary.  I desire to see Him use me to do great things, but Im honestly a little afraid. He calls me to seek Him and trust Him, and well…I am going to try, but there is a great work still developing within me....

I pray that they will be one

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one–as you in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.” John 17:20-21 When Jesus was in the garden, he asked that the Father would make us one. I’ve experienced that here at training camp more than anywhere else. I’ve seen it in our team as a whole. We don’t all think the same by far, but we all mesh together. We all have our strengths...

Doped up

I’m feeling great right now.  Anybody from the 60s and early 70s probably knows how I feel right now.  Training camp has been an eye opening experience.  Everything so far has brought me closer to God already and I haven’t even left the states yet.  I super pumped to hit the road jack.    Some of the coolest parts of training camp have been worship.  In the past I haven’t really gotting into worship but here I can’t help but shout because the power of the Holy Spirit is saturating the room.  So many...

In Everything Give Thanks

Hello dear friends, loved ones and strangers!!! As I wrap up on my final full day at training camp, I cannot help but reflect on the things that have happened here. I could tell you about the location of our camp, or the people I have met, or the amazing worship, or declaring things over the nations, or the time I got spit on, but I think I much rather share with you something that God has been teaching me. While here, I have been learning acceptance with joy. Acceptance is not the hard part- it’s the ‘with joy’ part that I sometimes find difficult to put into practice. It...
