I’m keeping you forever and for always
We will be together all of our days
Want to wake up every morning to your sweet face
Always.
-Shania Twain
We hear this song almost EVERY day here in Bunamwaya, Uganda. It is a strange techno version of the song, but the message is the same. It is a sweet reminder of home and also a reminder of the heart of God. Through teaching at school, going to church, and walking through the small town that we live in, we have seen so many of these sweet faces. It is so beautiful to know that this is the Lord’s desire for us, that we would be in fellowship with Him all the days of our days.
Some of the kiddos walking us home from school, too precious!

Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
Psalm 23:5-6
The greatest thing about God is that, unlike Shania, He really does mean FOREVER. He promises us an eternity filled with His unending love and mercy. He wants everyone to experience this eternity with Him, and that is why He is willing to go to such great lengths to reach His children that are lost. He wants to see their sweet faces every day for the rest of eternity, and He is using us to reach out to them!
Their joy is contagious!
Over the past 15 days we have…
-white water rafted the Nile River
-bungee jumped
-traveled countless hours on seriously sketchy roads
-taught MATH…seriously my fave!
-been blessed with a REAL HOME to live in…yay for avoiding our tents for a while!
-been served way too much African food
-been called a muzungu too many times to count
-become a family
-experienced God’s provision
There is so much to tell and thank God for, way too much to fit in a blog, just know that we are safe and God is moving here in Uganda! Next week we will be heading to Kenya!
Chocolate comforts!
Until next time!
