Hallelujah! AMEN!!!

Today as my team is packing up and getting ready to travel 26 hours to Tanzania, there is a sorrow that covers my heart. Though we are about to embark on a new adventure that God has planned for us, leaving Zomba, Malawi hurts me.

Pastor Gama and Mama Rose will hold a place in my heart forever, as well as their grandchildren, Dan(6) &Emanuel(9). The memories of playing UNO for hours, discovering that we were eating pigeon, becoming close and personal with the squatty(the toilet), walking to the market and having children attack you with thumbs ups, hugs, and high-fives, and hearing the word AZUNGO BO screamed from every corner, will never be forgotten!

This past week ministry was amazing! Last Thursday all the ladies of my group went to Pastor Gama's church and attended the first women's bible study! Our lovely Hannah spoke the word about Mary and Martha and the women were so thankful; we also worshiped with the mamas and it was beautiful!

Friday we went to this families village were they walk over an hour to attend pastor Gama's church! The children were adorable! Our van got extremely stuck in the mud(for the second day in a row) and we got to spend time just playing and taking pictures and singing with the kids and mamas! I fell in love with a little girl named Shakira 🙂 I know right! She is 4 years old and has the most precious smile! I will miss her dearly!

This past Sunday I also spoke in church; well I preached! Yea! I spoke on giving it all to God and how even when you may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death you shall fear no evil, for He is with you 🙂 psalm 23:1-4.

On Saturday morning I woke up with this heaviness on my heart to speak on Sunday. I did not want to, but God had a different plan 🙂 I opened my Jesus calling devotion and heard God say "they need to hear this." All I could do was say okay and started writing. The service was beautiful and full of love and Christ! When it came time for me to speak I could feel God's hand picking me up and wiping away all my nerves. I believe my message spoke to the Malawians and hope that they found peace through God!

Well all I ask for is prayers for the families here in Zomba. Specifically, Crispin, grenis & gladson Gift, Pastor Gama, Shakira's GoGo(grandma), and unis. Also for my squad and team's safe travels! Love and miss y'all dearly!!!

Love,
sweet jordy
