“Set a fire down in my soul that i cant contain that I can’t control. I want more of you God I want more of you.”
Over the last month and a half me and my team have spent our time with the amazing Maasai tribe in Ngabolo Kenya. Kenya has literally stolen my heart from day one. With it’s AMAZING landscape and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets that our Father has ever painted!! I knew from the very start that He had me there in Kenya for a unique purpose.
Our ministry consisted of walking, some more walking, and even more walking. Throughout the month we did door to door and school ministry. Everytime we went out for ministry we would walk a good hour and a half just to find a home in literally the middle of no where. It was amazing though because I got to see Gods amazing creation in the vast valleys and amazing wide open beautiful blue sky. On a day that we had school ministry we would walk a good hour just to get to the school. It was a long day but really rewarding because we got to talk to high school and middle school kids and just share with them about the love of Christ and just teach them on being faithful and making them know that even if they can’t provide for their school Gid is ALWAYS there for them and He will always provide for them.
After each day of ministry at the end of the day we would have fellowship. Fellowship was really just one big party, worshiping in both englsh and maasia. It was truly amazing to seethat no matter what language you were worshiping in that you were still brinning glory and honor to our Heavenly Father. We would dance like mad men around the fire, lifting our hands and just singing praise to our Father! It is something I will truly miss and will never forget. With fellowship we would have follow up. Follow up is where we would go back to the homes that we preached to and just see how they have been doing since the last time that we saw them. I had truly coneccted with a women named Paniina and Pastor James.
They both touch my heart, changed my life, and they will both always and forever be in my heart. James was a pastor at one of the churches we had served at one Sunday and we had connected from day one. He huge smile and his welcoming personality and his boldness and strength for Go ds Kingdom blew me away. James is a true man of God. His will and passion for our Saviors kingdom is something I will always strive for. He is also an identical twin ( that helped our relationship even more 🙂 ) James has truly touched my heart and you will always be in my heart my brother. Paniina had stolen my heart with heart loving heart. Her story frayed me and made me realize that even through the worst situations our God is ALWAYS faithful and will always love and provide for us! Her son Rober had stolen my heart and has changed me in ways I never knew were possible. I will always remember Paniina and James.
It is people like James and Paniina and her son Robet that truly make you realize that even in the really good times and in the truly life changing situations God is and always will be there to provide for us. I saw God move and I saw Bis Light truly shine in and through the people that I met and that I had the amazing opportinty to pray over. He is truly at work in the lives of James and Paniina and will continue to be each and everyday. Our God is reigning day after day, His love is never failing and never ending!!
