Kenyan Family

Kenya is absolutely amazing. It is absolutely gorgeous.
So much different than Uganda in so many ways.
Kenya looks exactly like the Lion King. Disney did a pretty good job portraying Africa.
Anyway Kenya is amazing. This month we tented. It was so awesome!
I’ve learned to see God in the small things. It is so easy to see God here in Kenya.
Our contact was Pastor David. His family was absolutely amazing!
They loved on us and welcomed us in such awesome ways.
They treated us as family not as visitors.
I loved spending time with them by the fire at night.
I love all the little moments we had together. Pastor David’s wife, Agnes, helped us cook.
She taught us how to make different things and by the end of the
month we were cooking on our own. She is amazing. She didn’t speak any english.
Even though there was a language barrier we still have been able to love on her like crazy!
I loved learning to cook. When I go home I’m going to try and make an African
meal for my family and friends! They have 3 children. Nashipa is 7, Mika is 5
(he’s the one I wrote the blog about) and Dama is 2. They are adorable.
I loved spending our free time with them. I miss them so much already.
They are amazing. I will never forget them. Then there is Stella.
She is pastor’s 18 year old niece. She plans to go to University once she gets all her funds.
So many of us connected with her and formed awesome relationships with her.
She also came out with us for ministry almost every day. Her heart is so beautiful.
I will miss her so much! I will miss pastors family like crazy.
Part of my heart will always be here in Kenya with them.
I love them so much!
