Shout out from the Expedition Girls!

After one heck of an AMAZING, stretching, challenging, and life changing month in the interior Maasi bush of Kenya ….

The Africa Expediton Girls are back in civilization!

Since leaving Georgia a month ago:

our beds have been the ground.
our rooms has been tents.
our roof has been the most beautiful stars you've ever seen,
our alarm clocks have been goats and sheep at 4:30AM.
our character builder (among many) — being a human buffet for fleas.
our best friends have been Maasi children and families.
and Jesus has showed up to exceed our prayers, hopes, and ideas every.single.day.

We are all alive, thank you Jesus!  But not just physically but so very alive spiritually.

((Be sure to read the blogs posted here over the next few days as the girls share their stories of our crazy jourrney this month!))

For you parents, here's some snip-its for you!

We left the bush very early this morning and headed to Nairobi. Arrived at "paridise" (also known as a hostel!) at about 4PM this afternoon.Showers, beds, and a flea-free envornment greeted us – it was like Christmas morning!

We had a special pizza dinner as a team tonight to celebrate an amazing finish to this month.

Tonight is s l e e e e p in a real bed!

Don't worry, the girls will be posting blogs and updating more over the next few days.

Hope and I are so proud of each one of these girls and the way they have served, loved , and given of themselves to minister to the Maasi people this month. It has not been easy. There have been some very challenging days – but it's been SO worth it!

They have chosen in to what God has for them and He has greatly rewarded.

I'm honored to lead these precious girls and to be apart of this journey with them!

Much love and blessings,

Elizabeth
