I have witnessed the powder in the name of Jesus Christ.
He gives joy to those who have nothing.
He feeds the hungry.
He provides love to the orphans.
He makes me new by baptizing me in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
He heals the sick.
He gives me energy when I'm fasting.
He provides peace when I think I need to worry.
He casts out demons in His powerful name.
He sent out a team of 12 disciples.
He chose me as His servant.
He taught me to die to my earthy ways daily to know Him and seek Him more.
He showed me how to speak in the Spirit when no words could express my inner and most complex emotions.
He gave me child-like faith.
He placed His authority in me to share with the world.
He asked me to help make disciples of all nations.
He provided me with eternal family.
He commanded me to love with all my heart.
He died so He could dwell inside me always.
He sent me to deliver the good news.
He gathered crowds to listen to the Word of God.
He used me in unimaginable ways.
He let the little children delight in my presence.
He showed me the riches of His Kingdom.
He taught me the importance to give more than I can.
He gives comfort to the widowed.
He makes the hour now to be Saved.
He tells us to delight in His grace.
He is tested and always wins.
He died to take the burden of my sins.
He dances when those return back to Him.
He rebukes spiritual war fare.
He is worth the cost of following.
He answers prayers.
He provides good health and safety.
He is my encouragement.
He answers hard questions.
He provides a way.
He is the bread of life.
He washes His disciples feet.
He comforts His apostles.
He promises the Holy Spirit.
He is the way to the Father.
….and He is living.
The Bible is living word.
While on this amazing journey I have had the opportunity to see His word come to life. The statements above all have stories and situations that connect to them. I have seen the love He gives to orphans while in Uganda. I have seen demons casts our in the name of Jesus. I have seen people dance in the presence of God during worship in Rwanda. I have seen how He provides the Holy Spirit when doing door-to-door ministry. I have had the opportunity to share the good news in the middle of Kenya and I've been blessed to do this with a team of 12 disciples. Everything in the Bible is relevant in todays world and I've learned that if I take a moment to let God lead me daily I can see how alive He is and how Jesus is really worth leaving the comforts of this world to follow and giving up everything just so others can know His name. His love is powerful and I'm blessed to get to be that love to people here in Africa although they have taught me more about what it means to truly love and sacrifice it all for Jesus.
