In between travel from Uganda to Kenya, we were able to have a few days of rest in Nairobi. There was so much to do and see I could hardly call it rest. We stayed in a neat hostel which had hot (ish) showers and was an awesome place to stay! Nairobi is a huge city and made me feel at home. We got to eat good food, shop around, and hang out with the whole expedition team. I really enjoyed my time there.
The past week we have been staying in Ngabolo in our tents. It has been awesome to have our own personal space and live in the outdoors. We have had the opportunity to help cook the meals we eat; I will be able to make an African meal when I get home!
