Training camp so far has taught us so much. It is really preparing us to go out and do the best mission we can. So far I have learned that we are basically going to do evangelism. That first scared the crap out of me. Like am I good enough to go spread God’s love and word? I really struggled with that thought. With my group we prayed together and talked a bunch. We are all good enough because we have God to equip us on the field. What really got to me here is the true worship. You will never know what worship is until you do it with a room full of 200 God fearing people. It doesn’t feel fake at all. The holy spirit really spread through the room like a wave. We all feel his presence every time we worship. That taught me that no matter what God is with us. Even in the simplest of times. To truly feel his love is the most amazing feeling you will ever have!! I learned how to really learn to listen to what God is telling you. He uses us in crazy ways! I tell ya he spoke though us all to each other. We didn’t even know who we were talking to or their life story, but oh man did some amazing things come out. He is teaching us all here to just let go, be free and trust him. Even when we don’t feel equipped. One thing that has come to my mind and just sticks out to me is “We are ill equipped, but we are equipped with God.” We can’t do anything without him with us. Oh man the best thing I have learned is to just let go, don’t feel silly or stupid, and worship God in the most outrageous ways. This is going to be one God filled summer with the most amazing people I have ever met! We are training to be Amazing in God!!
