My dad would be so impressed with how I have learned over the past few months to go with the flow. People are human and plans change. This is Africa. Expectations flew out the window when I took off from home back in January. My new take and practice of fluidity may not be the best but it is solely centered on what God has planned for my life. I guess that does make it the best. Asking him to reveal to me my next step. That is what got me here right? It is a crazy concept for me to take life one step at a time because I love to plan and make lists and follow logic. But sometimes your God given and God driven dreams will never have anything to do with logic. Honestly my one passion is to follow God’s will for my life.
I just finished a book by Mark Batterson called The Circle MakeR and it is full of examples of God answering bold prayers. The thing about bold prayers is that it takes a bold person to pray them, knowing that God has both the POWER and the WILLINGNESS to answer them. My God is a God of miracles and I know that my story is one. Each one of us has the chance to be a testimony to God’s greatness. And how great is our God?
So back on topic. So now I am praying with more conviction and expectation than ever. The bigger the better. I don’t care about my plan anymore because it is nothing compared to God’s. And if my God is for me, nothing can be against.
