Wait, whats my name again?

Radical transformation. Two words that mean you’ve been changed forever. We’ve all seen the shows on TV where someone goes in looking one way, and in a few days or even some months later they leave looking like a completely different person, inside and out. The reactions from others come in all different forms they can scream, cry, jump up and down, or shower them with compliments. In the end the person is always described in the same way: transformed.   The first trip I had taken with AIM was back in the fall of 2010 with the formally known ‘Real Life’...

13 Treasures of Africa

Let me just tell you a little bit about the treasures of Africa I have met this week. They are all God’s amazing treasures and have been put in my team’s lives for so many different reasons. We are all honored to get to know these children and be able to love on them. The closest town was three hours away. It was a beautiful desert wasteland. Wonderful mountains and scattered trees surrounded us. During our drives to and from town we would see elephants, zebras and giraffes along the road. (Crossing the border into Kenya.)   (Our view every night.)   (These big guys carried our supplies 6k while we walked with our packs.  Other teams traveled...

The rains came down and the floods came up The rains came down and the floods came up The rains came down and the floods came up and our tents went floating away!          …So they didn’t really go floating away, but if they were empty they definitely would have floated away. Here in Tanzania, specifically Arusha, they aren’t in a drought like Kenya. April is rainy season and it doesn’t just rain..it downpours and thunderstorms for hours on end. In my mind that’s super awesome! I love thunderstorms, but...
