Kenya Video!

Here is a glimpse of our time in Kenya! We were not able to get a lot of our ministry on video because of the Maassai culture- it is disrespectful to take pictures and videos without permission. But to make up for that we did a lot of recording during our trek time and down time! Hope you enjoy!!!   🙂 Allee

What is Real Life?

The Lord created in me a visionary. I was created to see things the way they are and know that this world is not what God intended. But there is a positive side to that negative. He created me to dream His Kingdom into life. To walk out in faith and follow convictions that seem so far removed they must be crazy. But the Lord has been working this in me my whole life. And I have never understood why I see things so differently. And I’ve kept quiet, and I’ve grown reserved and I’ve sunk backwards instead of boldly speaking out truth when the Lord puts it on my...

In the Eyes of a Broken Spirit I found Jesus

I think it’s safe to say that even in my Christian faith I have still been on the search for Jesus or a Jesus encounter. It’s so funny because I keep expecting to encounter Him in the most traditional places such as church, christian events, etc… (Don’t get me wrong now, I believe that the presence of God is in such settings and I am thankful for it.) However I also believe that Jesus is a street/ bush dweller. Why? Because I saw His face in a way  will never forget. WE got into the bush on a Saturday. I was excited but at the same time not so excited. (P.S. to...

Desert Trials

God has definitely been teaching me about total dependence oh Him, which has been an answer to months of prayer over the past several months.  But this is a hard lesson to learn.  I am writing this in my tent, the only shade in the blazing hot desert.  We are getting near the end of our water so we are learning to use it scarcely.  At night you can hear the lions and hyenas that would like a taste of the remaining goat we slaughtered for dinner that is hanging from a tree near by.  And I tell you this not to sound like I’m complaining, but to illustrate the...

Steadfast Faith

I don’t know whether to talk about the bustling city with dirt roads filled with bicycles, motorcycles, cars, and big trucks where the smell of car exhaust is all you can smell or the roosters crowing and goats and cows everywhere, or the most incredibly friendly people that welcome you wherever you go. But I think I’ll talk about the door to door evangelism that our team has been apart of here in Uganda. Like I said, the people who live here are incredible. Whether it be people from the church, out on the street, or when we do door to door evangelism, they are consistently...

Amen.

I can’t type right now.   There is so much inside me and no way I can let it all out. Please pick up a copy of Irresistable Revolution and let Jesus speak to you. And please let the Lord love you and teach you how to love. And pray the same things for me.     And learn about the people around you, and don’t get caught up in work that doesn’t really matter, and spend your hours working for the Kingdom, and pouring MUCH needed life into those around you, and speaking truth. Praise God Almighty that he gave us mouths to speak and we abuse the priviledge and...
