My name is not important. What is important is that Jesus loves me.

Where do I even begin? Kenya has been such a different experience than Uganda. Kenya, Satiman in particular, has challenged me. Being in the middle of nowhere has stretched me physically and mentally.   Physical challenges were the most obvious. We had to be so careful with our drinking water. We had to ration it out so we would have enough for the entire time. We had a small  selection of food, which isn’t “normal” for us. It was scorching hot during the day and freezing cold at night. We had to kill large insects that would creep into our tents. We had to push...

Prayer in the Desert

Here is a video of our time in Uganda, it has taken forever to upload this, but please watch to get a glimpse of our ministry! We will try our best to get one up from Kenya as soon as possible!                     Last week we spent our entire time in the HOT african desert, aka the BUSH. The Word was presented to more people than I can count. God is just as much here...

Absolute Truth

There is something remarkable that God’s been teaching me since I have been here and its that his word is absolute truth. Your response is … yeah alllee, duh I would hope you believe that since you are a Christian.   Don’t get me wrong, I have always believed his word was truth, but I also believed it as if it was written 2,000 years ago.   Example: The first morning we were here, we didn’t have much to eat and all we had was some peanut butter and one piece of toast for each of us. Angie prayed that God would multiply that food and that our stomachs...
