Feels Like Home

Uganda is beautifully created with green lush hills covered in banana trees and colorful rooftops. As I look out over our porch into Rukungiri, I am amazed by this place that God created. Uganda feels like home to me.

Our ministry in Rukungiri, Uganda has been so amazing. We have been serviing at the near by clinic where we pray over malaria patients and new born infants. I can feel the Lord working through our team as the days go on and those patients are healed and discharged.

The team has also been helping at The Little Angels Primary School where I have been able to teach the Primary one class. I taught them colors and objects and simple mathematics. The little children are a huge blessing to me because they are so joyful everyday and anxious to learn. Betty, the principle, started the school on her own and is still working to expand the school. She even cares for 40 orphan children who would not attend school otherwise.

Our third point of ministry has especially touched my heart. It is the Makobore Secondary Boy's School whice houses about 200 male students from the ages of 12 to 20. The school is Christian based so I see many strong men of God. There are many, however, that need Jesus and so it has been incredible getting to know them individually and encouraging them. God has placed a passion in my heart for these boys and the school that I cannot comprehend.

God has been moving in me more and more every day and I am so excited to see how he used me and the team in our last week in Uganda! God Bless!
