I didn’t know what to name my blog so I named it after this little red knock of Nike hat that i bought. I also bought a university of Michigan t shirt here in Kenya. It is a blast to go into the market area and shop around and bargain for stuff and talke with the locals. Last time we were in town we walked by a fish stand and we all lost it it smelled so bad we had to evacuate the area. On our off day we traveled to this huge amazing crazy waterfall thing and that was a blast. There is just no time here when it isn’t worthwhile to be here. The reason why it is worthwhile to be here is because we see God’s faithfulness everyday. Everday He shows up and guides us and uses to advance his kingdom. One of our main ministries here is going door to door and sharing teh gospel with people. Everyday so far someone’s name has been added to the Book of Life. God has definently prepared the people here for the gospel and for our team. I think in Corinthians it says our job is to plant and waer but it’s God who makes someone grow and that is so true. One day we even were welcomed into a Muslim home and were able to explain to them that Jesus is more than a prophet that He is the son of God and they wanted to know Jesus as their savior. In like an hour I’m going to meet a man named Abdul and get a Koran from him and try to also talk to him about Jesus. Nothing is better than living your life to tell people who Jesus is. It’s so fun! Funny story last night we found a huge cockroach and it somehow got loose and we couldn’t find it. With the exception of like 3 people our team lost it. It was the funniest thing everybody was absolutely terrified of this cockroach. We didn’t find it all night so sometime soon someone is in for a rude encounter. Most of our ministry is being involved in a local church and being a part of their small groups. Above all God is faithful and is using us to advance his kingdom.
