Today is our last day in Uganda and it seems like the time has flown by. God has blessed our team in so many ways . He has kept his promises to us and shown Himself to be a good God. Our work here has not been in vain and many people have turned their lives over to author and perfecter of our faith Jesus Christ. The biggest thing that you can be praying for is that the new believers get plugged into the Christian community and people are there to disciple them and help them grow in their faith. So my two good Uganda friends and I went to this dirty river and went swimming. It was hilarious. We jimmy-rigged a high jump out of sticks and had a long jump competition all while only in our boxers. The people here are so resourceful. We had a community wide crusade on saturday which was a huge concert type thing and we danced for like 4 hours to African music. I’ve got to play football with them and they are all like 10 times better than me but they still let me play so that’s cool. Going to be in the guys room is the funniest thing we just lay in our bunks and laugh for 30 minutes before bed every night I’m loving it. Last night I was able to share the gospel at a college student gathering at a nearby institute with like 40 students so that was encouraging. One of the biggest things I’ve learned while in Uganda is to enjoy the little things like sliced bread. Our leaders have hinted that Kenya will be a spiritual challenge for all of us so I’m looking forward to being pushed but definently pray for our team while in Kenya that we will seek Jesus with all our hearts.
