We’re here! (Parents please read)

Written September 1st.

I have 17 amazing new brothers and sisters, men and women of God. They encourage me to love God more and more everyday. The men are continually showing us women how loved we are and how men of God should act.

We have just arrived in Mozambique and are settling down into our tents for night number one. I finally have some time to myself and think about this last week and write my first blog post.

This last week at training camp I have grown deeper in my relationship with God, I have shed free of things I used to let define me, I surrendered things to the Lord that I had been letting hold me in bondage. I am now ready to go and change lives.

This month is going to be full of miracles. I can’t wait to see God use our hands to heal and our mouths to spread His name to all of the earth.

We are working with Africa on Fire ministries and will be jumping straight into the deep end with crusades and outreach. I am definitely not comfortable but God doesn’t call us to be comfortable, He calls us to lay down our lives, take up our cross and follow Him (Matthew 16:24).

Please continue to pray for our boldness and confidence as we step out in faith to spread His word.

We are all safe and healthy. Adjusting to the change in food and lifestyle.
I have seen every member of my team grow so much in just this past week that I am so excited to see how much more we grow the rest of this trip.
This is just the start of an amazing 3 months and the rest of our lives.

I also ask you, no matter where you are to go and tell someone about Jesus. I’ve realized life is too short to just sit back and not tell others about how great our God is!

If you don’t know Jesus, send me a message I would LOVE to talk with you.
