It’s amazing how God places people in your life that can change your view on your own circumstances. I met an incredible woman while working at the preschool in Maramba named Donka. She is the caretaker of the pre-school, so she basically does all the dirty work. Her circumstances are unfavorable; her husband left her with four kids to provide for on her own. This past year her house burnt down and she lost every possession she owned, so she was forced to pack up and move to Maramba to live with her sister.   Hello from Zambia! As mentioned in the previous blog, team Africa Expedition has made it safely to our contact in Zambia!  It was a long travel “day” starting at 8:30 AM on Saturday at the AIM offices and ended at 12:00 PM (eastern time) on Monday.   Here’s a picture of us in front of out housing for the next 2 weeks. Children are truly God’s gift to us they are the moments that never cease to disappoint. The best way to explain meeting them for the first time is very much like the song, “You’re Hot and You’re cold.” If you ever feel like someone is watching you, it is probably some kid peeking through the gates, indeed being mesmerized by you.
