CP…A God Sized Miracle

A week ago, we were able to go and meet some people at The Hope House here in Swaziland. The people at this place are in critical condition with life threatening diseases and conditions such as HIV/AIDS, strokes, TB, cerebral palsy and others.

The head nurse told us that in order for patients to come here, they must make a reservation because they only have so much space. It costs them 20 Rand ($2 USD) a day to stay here. They also must have a family member or friend stay with them 24/7 as their caregiver.

As many of you know, God has blessed my family and I with my sister Ashley, who has cerebral palsy. She brings us joy each and every day. She’s always happy, and loves to song to The Lord. She never complains about having to sit in a wheelchair all day, everyday, and she never complains that God made her the way He did. My life wouldn’t be complete without her.

While we were walking around praying for the people at The Hope House, my eyes caught glimpse of a little boy in a wheelchair. Since I’m so familiar with the condition, I was immediately drawn to him.

His name is Zamu. He’s 8 years old, but only looks to be about 4 years old, because he is so small. His condition was extremely severe. He couldn’t sit up on his own, so he was propped up in his chair by pillows and blankets. As I began to pray for him, a smile came across his face. I’m not sure if he knows or understands english, but praise God that the Holy Spirit has no language barriers. I know in my heart that he felt the love of God cover him.

I’m believing for this little boy to sit up. Stand up. Walk. Dance. Jump! And SHOUT for the Lord. I believe that this little boy is going to change this nation of Swaziland because his testimony is going to reach so many people!

NOTHING is impossible with our Great God. HE is the Great Physician.

Join with me in prayer for this little boy’s healing. I’m believing.
