Uganda has been great! It wasn’t at all what I was expecting, with us being right out side of the capitol city of Kampala. I have had a lot of firsts on this trip already. I went rafting, bungee jumping, rode on the back of a motorcycle multiple times, put out a car fire with buckets of water, emptied my bowels into what is essentially an open septic tank, threw up multiple times outside of a chicken house, preached the gospel to people worshiping a tree, preached the gospel to Muslims, became a third grade teacher, and bathed with a bucket, just to name a few. Most importantly however, I have started for the first time to really listen to God in what his plans are for me. We leave for Kenya tomorrow and I cant wait for some more first times.
