I AM ENOUGH
I have already fallen in love with everything about Kenya. It has far surpassed every expectation I ever had. God’s love and presence is so evident in this place and through these people. He has been so faithful as every sunrise and sunset. His beauty shines throughout the rolling hills and through every smile of every child. ( don’t be surprised if I bring one home, seriously) Since the day I stepped off the plane in Atlanta, God has been teaching me, stretching me, and been preparing my heart for all that he has for me and all the love he wants to give me. I am beyond honored to be in Kenya spreading God’s love and sharing his word. So just a quick run through of what God has shown me:
- I am enough
- To be vulnerable
- To embrace stepping out of my comfort zone
- He is ALL I need
- I am not in control
- To rely on God for absolutely everything
I am so happy here! My heart has been drawn in the love of the children here. God has allowed me to show his love by loving on them. When I look at the children, I can feel the wellspring of the Lord’s love for them flowing out of me. Please continue to pray for my team and I. The Lord has so much more for us all! God Bless!
