You call me out upon the waters, the great unknown where feet may fail. And there I find You in the mystery in oceans deep, my faith will stand……..Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters wherever You would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander and my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior.
So many times in life we pray that The Lord would guide us on the path that he has planned for us, but in the back of your mind, always either question it, or don't agree with it, or think we know what's best for our lives. We get comfortable. We don't have that child-like faith because as adults, we're jaded and we're broken, and we're worn out and burnt out by what the "world" has thrown at us.
I've been praying this prayer of "Father, I want YOUR will and YOUR plans for my life" for a while now, and He heard..and He spoke…and He has CALLED!
I'm about to begin a three month journey in Mozambique, Swaziland, and South Africa with 18 other brave and faithful young adults! We will be BLESSED by the people who call these places home.
We've all prayed, "Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders" and He has led us all here on this trip.
Having faith that He is going to stay faithful and provide the funds (to the last cent) that is needed for us to go. For Him to soften our family and friends hearts, to support us on this journey. To be our comfort when we're homesick on the field. To be the lifter of our heads when we feel like everything is going wrong because of the insane about of spiritual warfare that comes against us before this journey.
HE is everything we need. He is who THEY need to know about! He is who called US to go, and share His love with the people of these countries!
Family and friends, I cannot tell you how appreciative I am of all of your support thus far. I cannot wait to share with you what God is going to do on this adventure! Be sure to keep checking this blog for updates!
