I can't describe how wonderful the past few days have been!! The hours of waiting in the Atlanta airport (seriously…6 hours) were definitely worth it, my team, my leaders, and training camp have been amazing. As each girl arrived at the Atrium, I got more and more excited. Each team member felt like they had something unique to offer to the team.
The different activities and excercises we've been doing at training camp have been strengthening the bond within our team and also within me. I can feel God working within us and his voice speaking life into me and my team members.
Over the past fews days we have:

Released any baggage we were carrying that would inhibit us on the field

Painted a beautiful team banner

Danced like crazy people

Attempted to speak to a primitive "tribe"

Worship like the Lord intended us to
-
Listened to Him speak within us and spoke words of encouragement to each other with His voice

Made connections and bonds that are already feeling like family

Loved Him
I can't wait to be jetting off tomorrow. We'll be making stops along the way in Washington DC, Amsterdam, and then finally Kenya! I won't be getting much sleep tonight (because I'm so excitied, and because we're getting up early!) but I'll be sure to catch up on our multi day travel on vans, planes, and buses.
