Hey everyone! I feel like so much has happened in the past week and a half and I have so much I want to tell you all! But I have to keep this short. Before even leaving for training camp, I had read an old blog that talked about prophecy and how they did that at training camp. It freaked me out a little bit but I know I had to trust the Lord. So the first couple days of training camp I was dreading the day I would have to deal with it. But then it happened and I realized that it’s not some weird out of this world thing. All it is is praying and listening to God. I have never prayed so hard in my life. All I wanted was for God to open my eyes and to allow me to hear Him. And He did! So I began this journey with a new understanding of how God communicates to me. He doesn’t speak to me the same way he speaks to you or anyone else. How awesome is that?! Africa has been amazing and I have never stopped seeking the Lord. Everything about this trip has been about leaning completely on Jesus. I read in Deut. 30 where the Lord says “Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.” It is such a comfort to know that even though we may have no idea what lies ahead on this trip or where we may end up, that Christ has a very special plan for this team.
